Dr. Deshpande's academic journey began with earning her MBBS degree from D. Y. Patil University in Kolhapur, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) from Laxmi Eye Institute in Panvel under CPS with First Division. She further honed her skills through short-term and long-term Cornea Fellowships at H.V. Desai Eye Hospital in Pune, focusing on both cornea and refractive surgeries.
Her professional career spans across prestigious institutions where she has made significant contributions. Dr. Deshpande served as a Cornea Consultant at H.V. Desai Eye Hospital in Pune for two years, followed by a year-long tenure as a Cornea Consultant at Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya in Thane. Currently, she holds the position of Senior Consulting Eye Surgeon at Rasika Eye Care in Thane, where she continues to provide high-quality care to her patients.
In addition to her primary responsibilities, Dr. Deshpande extends her expertise as a Visiting Cornea Consultant at Jagjivanram Railway Hospital in Mumbai Central and as a Visiting Consultant at CGI Foundation-Mehta Eye Center in Ghatkopar.
